# A Note on Monetization

This section discusses only a few of many possible ways Hypothesis’ can monetize. The following pages should not be seen as explicit plans for monetization, rather a guideline for how Hypothesis founders are establishing a monetization philosophy that can integrate with their philosophies regarding healthy communities and more ethical content publishing incentives.
